We went to town, it wasn’t great but it was ok, at least we only took an hour to buy milk, get cash from the machine and get back to the car. It would have taken longer except Sprog had to be forcibly removed from two ‘rides’ and there were the three occasions where he decided to lay flat on his face for a few minutes in Sainsbury’s. Plus on the way back to the car he tried twice (with varying degrees of success) to join people sitting outside for coffee. I think reins need a re-design to incorporate some kind of steering/braking mechanism…

Oh yeah, and he got called a girl again… by someone from work - I’m not going to name and shame…

It’s great to have visitors as it forces you to tidy up… when the visiting parties have gone you’re left with a nice spare room and things put in their proper places. Well, the things that you’ve not just hidden in random places/cupboards to get them out of the way… Anyway, having visitors is good… I shall enjoy the pseudo tidiness for the next 24 hours until the house gets messed up again.

Being organised and cooking some rice for supper in advance, feeling virtuous as draining it over sink. I hear banging and realise that Sprog has hurled his lovely ricey lunch 3 foot across room. Rice is quite awkward to pick out of carpets it would seem…

Okay, so I was thinking there aren’t any pics on here at the moment… but I couldn’t decide what to put on here so I googled “nice picture” and this was the first result. It’s from www.ross-craft.com which seems to be a nice blog by a couple called David and Pamela who are travelling around Europe in their boat.

Having once left the family dog outside a shop for quite a while, having gone home and forgotten her, I am prime candidate for something like leaving Sprog in the car or at the supermarket. I’m somewhat relieved that I’ve been out-forgottened by Husband who pulled up on the drive, realised his error and immediately sped off to nursery…

I kind of like stats… they are so great for twisting things. Today I carried out a small study on my walk to work in the rain. There were many more chavs out than normal, therefore I hypothesised that rain encouraged chavs to come out. My hypothesis was disproved when I realised there appeared to be more chavs as everyone had their hoods up, thus appearing to be ghastly hoodies while in fact they were students trying to keep dry…

Yes it’s a kids programme on CBBC but to be honest it’s wasted on them and should be on BBC2 of an evening… highlights include:
