Pureeing yummy baby din dins
In my imagination:
- Peeling and chopping - easy
- Cooking it - yawn
- Blending it - whizzzzz :-)
- Spoon into handy ice-cube trays - et voila
In reality:
- Wash stuff up as dishwasher not put on
- Peel and chop, make big mess of pear juice and peelings
- Realise haven’t washed ice cube trays
- Need room to put things so have to make more space
- Cooking - supposed to take 5 mins but takes ages
- I add a teensy bit of water (as per book’s advice) end up with a few pear bits swimming about in pan - drain water
- Wonder if can smoosh them with potato masher. Apparently not.
- Get blender, not working, fuse has been taken and used for something. Steal fuse from something else.
- Blend it all up…
- Ready - poised with spoon and 3 ice-cube trays.
- It fills one tray. I eat the left overs.
Tomorrow - Carrots…
