Dear previous house owner…
Thanks for the note about the boiler, yes, it is a bit temperamental isn’t it! Should be okay though as I don’t mind running downstairs to re-set it every time I need to wash my hands or have a shower or something. The random heating turning off is a bit of a problem, but i think if i set my alarm for about 5:30am to remind me to make sure the boiler hasn’t turned off, I can be sure that it will be warm when Sprog and Husband get up at 6am.
As for the dishwasher, well, the not rinsing does mean I have to wash everything that’s been in the dishwasher again. At least it gets the worst of the food etc off, so it does save some time.
Re: the small bedroom, we’ve taken the door handle off now, so no one else will be trapped in there again. I’m sure we won’t need to ever shut the door or anything.
Anyway, better get on with the unpacking… hope all is well in Australia, if you come this way again maybe you can explain where and how the doorbell is wired in? It doesn’t seem to be working at the moment…
